People who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment will benefit from the many opportunities offered by our growing center.Job Title: Senior Backend Developer Function: Consulting Services Status: Full-time Team: Gen.AI Location: Montreal or Quebec CitySalary and benefits: 125-135k + RRSP matching + 3-4 weeks vacation + healthcare benefitsWhat You Will DoDesign and implement scalable and maintainable backend systems using C#Lead a backend teamDevelop and maintain APIs for use by front-end applications and third-party systemsCollaborate with team members to design and architect solutionsParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practicesTroubleshoot and debug production system issuesImplement and manage data storage solutions, such as relational or NoSQL databasesImplement security measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilitiesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developersStay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in the fieldWhat You Bring to the Role8+ years of experience in implementing and deploying technical solutionsStrong experience with C# and the .NET frameworkExperience in API development and designExperience in database design and managementKnowledge of design patterns and best practices for scalable and maintainable codeFamiliarity with cloud platforms, such as Microsoft AzureExperience with agile software development methodologiesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience with Git or other version control systemsKnowledge of front-end development (UI/UX), with skills in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, etc.Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD)Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Power BI is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsEntrepreneurial mindset and creativity in problem-solvingExperience mentoring junior developersExperience leading implementations is an assetAbility to work effectively in a team environmentUniversity degree in a field such as computer science, sciences,
