Job Summary:
We’re seeking a meticulous and analytical Jr. Data Migration & Reporting Analyst to join our Data Solutions team. This role is essential to our data migration projects, involving data analysis, transformation, and report generation to support our clients' decision-making.
Essential Functions:
- Reporting: Develop, maintain, and optimize reports using proprietary software, Excel, and SQL to meet client needs and provide valuable insights.
- Data Migration: Execute data migration processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity as data moves from various systems to our platform.
- Data Mapping & Transformation: Design and implement data mapping plans, perform data cleaning,
and ensure smooth data conversion based on business requirements.
- Data Validation: Conduct thorough post-migration validation and resolve discrepancies to uphold data quality and accuracy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions for enhanced data visibility and usability.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to data migration and reporting processes for greater efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong intermediate skills in Excel/Google Sheets (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, text formulas).
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with data structures and formats such as JSON and XML.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving skills,
and attention to detail.
- Effective communicator, able to explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Understanding of SQL is a plus but not required
- Experience in Mortgage or Private lending industry preferred.
