About the role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Representative to grow our rental business, with a particular focus on Western Canada.
The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyse business development success. If you're a people person who loves building relationships at all levels, this could be the job for you.
Skills & Requirements
Reporting to the Country Manager, you will:
- Utilise your proven interpersonal skills to build long-lasting relationships with clients to generate consistent and sustainable sales results
- Build on existing fleet capabilities by identifying emerging market requirements and business development opportunities
- Promote the organisation and its products and services provided
- Manage highly technical and high value sales opportunities
- Focus on sales while networking with the local community to develop long term relationships
- Maintain regular contact with key clients and partners
- Manage client inquiries in a timely fashion
- Be willing to work in the office and on the road - overnight travel will be required

Qualifications & Experience
- Essential: Must reside in and have legal working rights in Canada
- Relevant tertiary education and/or applicable industry related experience
- Strong knowledge of the various sub-sectors of the Canadian market with a key focus on Western Canada
- Experience in customer relationship management and/or building strong relationships
- Possess high quality computer skills for use with email, LinkedIn, and our in-house CRM and POS systems
- Be fluent and proficient in English, both verbal and written
