Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Gas Bar Associate for our Fraser Heights Gas Bar located in Surrey, BC.

We operate three food and pharmacy stores (including one with a fashion and hardware department), thirty-one Angry Otter liquor stores, two feed mills, two bulk petroleum facilities, the Angry Otter Tap & Forno and Brewery in North Vancouver, the Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford,
the Highwayman Pub in South Surrey and twenty-five gas station/convenience stores.

What you will do:
Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following: Provide pump island and sales area product and exemplary service to customers in a courteous efficient manner and within approved programs, policies and procedures
Perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties
Complete daily summaries and other paperwork as required
Operate the cash register and other equipment as required
Prepare the daily pump and cash reconciliation reports
Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are: You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
Previous experience in a convenience store or gas station is an asset
Previous customer service experience in a retail setting is an asset
You have strong math skills and basic computer skills
Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
Motivation and ability to work in a busy environment
Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
The ideal candidate will have open availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
This position is based out of Fraser Heights Gas Bar, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
Must have reliable transportation as bus is not always reliable for all shifts
