Job Title: Assistant Catering ManagerAramark is seeking an experienced Assistant Catering Manager to join our team at a conference center in Kamloops, BC.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring events are executed accurately and efficiently by the catering team. This includes managing the supply of equipment and resources needed to deliver events,
as well as supervising staff required to execute all conference center activities.This position reports directly to the Catering Manager and requires:Serving it Right certificationFood Safe certificationA valid Driver's License with a clean driving recordKey Responsibilities:Develop and maintain effective client relationships and deliver consistent quality in event planning and executionFacilitate the delivery of prepared food and setup of events as per banquet event ordersTrain and lead catering employees to ensure high standards of service and presentationProvide quality assurance on all requests and deliverables before eventsEnsure accurate reporting of catering revenue, expenses, and receivablesRecruit, train, schedule, and develop team members to meet business objectivesRequirements:1-2 years of experience in the food service industryCatering and banquet experience is an assetExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skillsAbout Aramark:We are a global organization that provides food and facilities services to millions of guests every day.
