Our valued Public Sector Client is looking for an Intermediate UI/UX Designer to provide user-centered design principles and techniques to improve on application designs
The work performed under this contract will consist of supporting the Digital Hub in the design, prototyping, development, operation, scaling and sustainment of cloud-based software applications developed following an Agile methodology and leveraging DevOps processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the TA or designated representative stakeholders and users to develop a shared understanding of business and user goals;
- Manage processes for gathering feedback and iterate on existing UX design ideas;
- Design short- and long-term user experience vision and strategy for products;
- Develop and document user journeys, personas and segmentations;
- Collect and analyze user behaviors and needs through user interviews, field studies, surveys, A/B testing, digital experience monitoring, usability testing etc.
- Design solutions to address critical user pain points and opportunities to increase efficiencies and streamline RCAF business processes;
- Translate user research into stories and work with development team members to prioritize and deliver them;
- Ensure all products meet objectives for usability, adhere to relevant design and accessibility standards, comply with brand strategy and deliver positive user experiences;
- Use and train others on UI/UX tools, techniques and best practices;
- Build and document design patterns, standards and systems;
- Act as a UI/UX lead on one or more product teams; and
- Other UI/UX professional services-related activities,
as requested by the TA or their designated representative.
Must Haves:
- UX/UI Designer 3+years
- Sketch/Figma/Zeplin
- HTML and CSS and JavaScript 2+years
- Degree or Diploma in the field of Science or Engineering.
