Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior Project Manager to create a roadmap to support the implementation of a Data Management Framework.
Background:
The organization must become digitally enabled by 2025, and digitally transformed by 2030. The data management focus area aims at delivering a data tagging and cataloguing capability as a necessary first step to being able to access these data and unlock its potential. The contracted resource is responsible for creating a roadmap that guides the department toward the effective implementation of Data Management elements, with the Data Catalog at its core.
Tasks:
• Develop a detailed data management plan that includes specific roadmaps for metadata and data cataloging implementation.
• Ensure that data governance related requirements are clearly defined and incorporated into operational prioritization and planning.
• Provide subject matter expertise related to data strategy, data management, metadata, and data cataloging.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and deploy a Proof of Concept of the Data Catalogue solution.
• Assist in the validation of high-level and detailed requirements to validate tools and options analysis for metadata and data cataloging.
• Assess risks that could impact the implementation of metadata and data cataloging capabilities.
