Our client is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to support IT strategy and governance in a public sector environment.
Please note that this role is on site in Regina.
Must Have:
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience working as an Enterprise Architect
- Experience working in the public sector
- Certification in TOGAF 9 or newer, with certification details, including TOGAF version, certification date, and the Personal Information Code for private accounts.
Nice to Have:
- Experience using the Orbus iServer suite of enterprise architecture tools.
- Experience with organizational design and change management practices.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-year capital and operational budget planning,
including projections for total cost of ownership.
Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, frameworks, and governance models to advance the organization's IT initiatives. This role demands a strong understanding of public sector operations, enterprise architecture frameworks, and strategic IT alignment to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop business and IT strategies, including consolidated enterprise roadmaps.
- Manage business applications and technology portfolios, including rationalization and lifecycle oversight.
- Lead multi-year capital and operational budget planning, ensuring accurate projections for total cost of ownership.
- Design and implement architectural governance frameworks and standards.
- Facilitate enterprise planning and consult with business and IT leadership on strategy development.
- Analyze and align business capabilities with IT services.
- Lead the design and development of IT service management and orchestration processes.
- Ensure compliance with risk management practices and enterprise governance standards.
- Engage with organizational stakeholders to facilitate strategic planning and problem-solving.
