We're seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team on a T4 contract basis in a hybrid role based in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a Fortune 500 company, providing expert assistance to customers while leveraging your skills in troubleshooting, relationship-building, and technical analysis.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing a variety of technical inquiries related to industry-leading software like 3DS Max and Maya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, efficient,
and timely assistance to customers with technical inquiries.
- Investigate, verify, and document product-related issues.
- Proactively manage support cases and contribute to team goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance support processes and strategies.
- Prioritize support requests across Standard, Premium, and Enterprise levels.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of technical support experience, with expertise in 3DS Max and/or Maya.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Mac OS, and Linux platforms.
- 5+ years in the Media and Entertainment industry, with a deep understanding of industry workflows.
- Scripting/programming experience (MEL, Python, PyMel) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive mindset, adaptability to change, and eagerness to learn new technology.
