Co-op ASIC Digital Design and Verification
Job Description
Temporary full time (40 hours/week) Co-op/Intern position for 16 weeks from September 3 to December 20, 2024 To further strengthen the team at our Ottawa location, we are looking for an ASIC Digital Design and Verification Co-op Student who will work on the development of state of the art mixed-signal PLL (phase-locked loop) integrated circuits. During the coop term in the Digital Verification team you will learn about our object-oriented verification environment and testcase writing. You will be assigned a number of programming tasks which will allow you to contribute to our verification team and grow your knowledge and gain experience in ASIC verification at the same time.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Good academic standing
- Object oriented coding skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Fast learner with ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Understanding Standard Specifications/functional specifications/ feature enhancements for the product to create and execute detailed verification plans
- Knowledge of Verilog,
- SystemVerilog and HVL methodology such as UVM is an asset
- Experience with embedded C ,C++, JAVA programming is an asset
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Tcl is an asset
Education Students in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering or Computer Science
