Overview
As a Planning Supervisor at Starcom, you will oversee the development of media plans that align with client objectives and are driven by human insights to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and excellence in their deliverables. Partnering closely with your Director, you will help develop and sell integrated Publicis Media solutions to your clients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain direct client contact for assigned brands.
- Gather and analyze data and human insights to identify client advertising and media needs.
- Develop and present strategic media plans to clients.
- Evaluate media alternatives and recommend optimal allocation of advertising budgets.
- Communicate campaign objectives to the team, ensuring strategic and insightful plan delivery.
- Mentor and guide Media Strategy Planners and Assistants, ensuring their professional growth.
- Oversee the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of their work.
- Collaborate with partner agencies and global counterparts to maintain efficient workflows.
- Oversee financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely billing and managing discrepancies.
- Partner with the team Director to identify growth opportunities for assigned clients, recommending and selling Publicis Media solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or related fields preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in media planning, buying, and management.
- Soft Skills:
- Collaboration, superior communication, and team leadership.
- Emotional intelligence and assertiveness.
- Initiative, prioritization, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external clients.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical proficiency with media systems, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
