Interested in joining a fast-paced hospitality team? Then we may be the fit you're looking for! The Metro Toronto Convention Centre's Cleaning Services department is currently recruiting for Casual Cleaners. Reporting to the Cleaning Services Supervisor, the successful candidates will be available to work rotating shifts (primarily days, occasional evening) including weekends as required.
Job Description
Window Cleaner performs general and specific duties in assigned areas in accordance with Cleaning Services Department standards of practices, policies and procedures.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Cleaning of all interior and exterior glass, mirrors and stainless steel
- Maintaining of supplies and equipment
- Other basic cleaning duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in window washing
- Working at Heights (up to 100ft)
- Ability to work under physically demanding conditions, such as performing repetitive movements and heavy lifting or carrying
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently to understand verbal work orders
- Pleasant and courteous demeanor and able to greet guests and respond to general customer queries.
