We are recruiting Nutrition Managers (CSNM) from Ontario for our Western Provinces and have an immediate opportunity in Kamloops.We are currently seeking an experienced Nutrition and Housekeeping Manager for a new long-term care facility in the heart of Kamloops, B.C. The Nutrition and Housekeeping Manager is responsible for managing the food service, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services for the 100 senior residents. Job ResponsibilitiesManages the food service operation to ensure compliance to food safety,
sanitation and workplace safety standardsHires, trains and directs food service staff regarding food presentation, cost control, quality and cash handlingResponsible for ordering, inventory, menu development and production planningManages the housekeeping, laundry and maintenance services for the facilityMonitors and verifies timecards, payroll and accounting documentation through web-based systemsProvides overall direction and manages performance for 4 Supervisors and 25+ staffDevelops and maintains positive working relationships with Client management, residents, colleagues and staff.QualificationsMust be an active member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM)Degree or diploma in Nutrition Management is requiredPrevious supervisory or management experience in food service is requiredPrevious experience in long-term or healthcare is a definite assetBasic knowledge of housekeeping, laundry and light maintenance requirements is preferredMenu management,
