driven administrator with strong communication and sales skills to assist with the day-to-day operations of their busy Kingston office. This cutting-edge firm has been a leader in this field but there is always room to expand their reach. They offer a cohesive working environment where there are challenging projects and opportunities for professional growth. The successful candidate will be tasked with optimizing patient services and office processes with a tightly knit team while proactively developing business in the community.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the frequent and direct contact with patients, referring optometrists and the general public to promote the benefits of care throughout the entire process. You will also be responsible for surgery coordination, communication with our medical team and staff, operations management, record-keeping, marketing and business development (including overseeing a referral program). A comprehensive corporate job description is available. While the role is based in the Ottawa office, you must be willing to travel to the Kingston office, typically one or two days per week.
Keys to Success To be considered for this key position you must have at minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or direct sales experience. An ideal candidate will have prior experience in similar roles with ophthalmology, optometry (or other related medical fields) or experience in a private health clinic, but this is not necessary if you love to learn.You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong computer skills. You can work both independently and as part of a closely-knit team while thriving in an often fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate would have a post-secondary education, be personable and diplomatic while always displaying a high level of professionalism in all dealings with staff, management, clients and other stakeholders within the community.You must be an ambitious,
community-minded leader with an innate natural drive to promote this successful business and seize new market opportunities.
