Executive Assistant / Project Manager to CEO (Hybrid in Ottawa, MUST LIVE IN OTTAWA)Auger Hollingsworth is an accident and injury law firm with offices in Ottawa and Toronto and is determined to become Ontario’s largest personal injury law firm.The CEO is a lawyer and entrepreneur who is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant / Project Manager to work closely with him and his leadership team to achieve the firm’s growth goals. The role requires an ambitious hard-working action taker to complete many tasks relating to all law firm operations.The successful applicant must thrive on taking direct, hands on,
immediate action and task completion.This role is all about getting as many things done as possible with excellence as directed by an ambitious, busy and creative visionary entrepreneur and lawyer. This is an interesting role for a “take charge” task doer and project manager. No two days will be the same.You will support the CEO as a strategic partner by helping the CEO stay in his zome of genius and free up his time to focus on what fascinates and energizes him. You are the roght hand and most trusted ally, anticipating issues and needs, prioritizing what's important, organize the CEO's time and calendar/email, plan his time off and trips and overall handle all tasks that the CEO is not good at or tasks that drain his energy.You will be a key support to the leadership team and will be the executing bridge between the ownership team and operations, marketing, finance and human resources of the firm. You will lead execution in all major areas of the business.The role is about focusing on supporting the CEO while also partnering with the wider team to ensure smooth collaboration, execution and "managing up" to prevent bottlenecks and overcome obstacles.RequirementsUniversity degree required.
New graduates with relevant experience welcome. You aren’t afraid to challenge my thinking and you share your thoughts without attachment to the outcome.This is the right role for you if…3+ years of executive assistant experience or similar role supporting a Business leaderYou've got strong project management skills.You're eager to learn all aspects of the business and help take it to the next level.You've got a track record of being a true action taker and getting lots of stuff done.You enjoy juggling multiple responsibilities and wearing multiple hats and can maintain a high level of organization while doing so.You love to continually learn and read about business strategy and how it can be applied to real life business growth.You are comfortable performing administrative Executive Assistant tasks including full ownership and management of the CEO’s email, calendar. Must be outstanding using Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe etc.10000% reliable, organized, and deadline oriented.Open to bringing new ideas and speaking up for improvement.Thrives in fast-paced environments with a continuous learning mindset.Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.Collaborative approach to work.Proficiency in creating SOPs.Ability to understand and support the CEO's vision.Goal setting and timeline development skills.Strong self-awareness and leadership abilities.You don’t have a problem handling personal tasks.Ability to travel with the CEO, as needed.You are also comfortable with Day-to-Day Task Management that is not strictly business matters:● Handle or find resources to manage tasks like servicing the car, booking doctor appointments, or managing dog care for the CEO's dog, recruiting household staff etc.● Research and organize creative gifts for family and clients, track important dates, and suggest ways to recognize others.Our Core Values and What We Believe InWe get it Done.We have No B.S.
