Job Title: IT Administrator

Location: Toronto, ON (In-office, 5 days/week)

Salary: $100,000 - $175,000/year
Compensation: Base salary, tokens/stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator to join our growing team in downtown Toronto. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this role is pivotal in managing device provisioning, IT security, and technical support in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise with Okta , Jamf , and Apple devices, along with a strong understanding of IT security and compliance practices.

Responsibilities:

- Device Onboarding:



Configure and provision Apple devices (MacBooks, iPhones, iPads) for new hires using Jamf. Manage access credentials, account setups, and application configurations via Okta.
- MDM Administration: Administer and optimize Jamf to enforce device policies, manage configurations, and ensure secure identity and access management.
- Okta Administration: Manage and optimize Okta deployments, integrating it seamlessly with other tools and ensuring robust security.
- Device Security: Implement and maintain security measures, including encryption, endpoint protection, and compliance monitoring. Assist with audits and identify vulnerabilities to enhance the security posture.
- IT Support: Provide expert technical support for Apple devices, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
- Startup Adaptability: Contribute to IT strategy and infrastructure improvements, ensuring scalability and responsiveness in a dynamic startup environment.

Requirements:

- Certifications: Jamf Certified and Okta Certified.
- Experience:



8-10 years in IT support, with significant expertise in managing Apple devices and environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in macOS, iOS, Jamf, and Okta administration.
- Security Expertise: Familiarity with security best practices, including endpoint protection, encryption, and compliance standards like SOC2.
- Startup Experience: Proven ability to adapt to the fast-moving demands of a startup environment.
- Location: Ability to work full-time in our downtown Toronto office.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in blockchain
- Additional IT certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with other MDM tools or security frameworks.
