Overview
Spark is looking for Group Account director, Investment with strong digital platforms and ecosystems understanding
Responsibilities
- Digital, broadcast, video, social, programmatic, search and commerce channels
- Manage multi-disciplinary team ensuring all team members are delegated work appropriate for their level and experience and that the team remains challenged and engaged
- Responsible for meeting client and agency KPI's and development of business plans and investment strategies
- Work closely with agency investment leads to ensure alignment with both agency and client priorities and investment direction
- Lead overall investment management strategies, negotiations and deal development on behalf of client
- Keep informed regarding media trends,
technologies and new media opportunities
- Key lead on client integrations and special investment projects
- This will be a senior client facing role on a regular basis
- Establish and grow a strong relationship with multiple senior client stakeholders through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the application to business challenges and investment strategies to drive client business growth
- Educate clients and provide thought leadership on changing media, consumer and marketplace dynamics that impact strategic direction
- Work with analytic partners to gauge media performance and KPI's to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
- Acts as a positive role model through example, mentor and maximize team potential
- Work closely with their direct report to optimize any revenue opportunities within the agency at large
- Work closely with their direct report with relationship and stewardship of agency agreements
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years media agency experience preferred
- University or College degree/diploma in Media, Marketing, Business
- Experience in both planning and buying is a key asset as this role will live between planning and buying, very strong internal relationship skills are required
- As the 'quarterback' of a multi-disciplined activation team of experts, a demonstrable depth of understanding of all channels while supported by center of excellence teams within each discipline is required
- A strong understanding of role each channel plays in media mix, how it is traded and how it is measured within a client campaign
- Have,
cultivate and maintain relationships with key investment partners across all channels, broadcast, digital, video
- Excellent client management, interaction and presentation skills required
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage priorities
- Demonstrated team leadership credentials
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
