THE OPPORTUNITY PaceZero is looking for an exceptional private markets investment professional with an entrepreneurial drive and a desire to contribute to building a world-class asset management firm. Reporting to the Founder and CEO, the Director will lead the end-to-end deal cycles from origination to closing at PaceZero and build strong trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders, and ecosystem partners. This is an exciting opportunity in a rapidly growing firm to make an impact both internally and more broadly as we fund businesses creating positive change globallySPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead and manage the assessment and execution of new private credit investment opportunities by conducting thorough due diligence, including financial modeling, credit analysis, risk assessment, structuring, and negotiation. Provide actionable recommendations to the Investment Committee. Drive the execution of transaction activity, ensuring timely completion of all stages, from deal origination through closing, with a strong focus on underwriting, structuring, pricing, covenants, and risk analysis. In partnership with Business Development,



build and maintain relationships with key ecosystem partners and develop a long-term pipeline of potential investments. Oversee the performance of portfolio companies and provide reporting to PaceZero’s Management team and Advisory Board. Contribute to thought pieces and publications, including PaceZero’s annual Impact Investing report. Coaching, mentoring, and contributing to the overall knowledge base and expertise of the organization. Act as a PaceZero ambassador and thought leader in the Private Credit and Impact space, continuing to build the firm’s reputation as a leader.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years of financial services experience with a financial institution or private markets investment fund. Demonstrated track record of private market investment performance (equity or credit) is considered a strong asset.



Experience managing specific origination, investment, and performance-based targets is considered a strong asset. CFA or CPA designations are considered an asset. Strong understanding of the North American growth stage technology and healthcare sectors. Experience with impact-focused businesses is considered an asset. Exceptional experience structuring deals across numerous credit facility types, including venture-backed lending, cashflow lending, and asset-based lending. Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and ecosystem partners. Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills, with deep experience presenting to C-Level and Board level clients and stakeholders. Strong people leadership experience.
