Position Summary
West Kelowna Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) has an immediate permanent, part-time Physiotherapist opening. This is a 0.5fte position. Days of work are Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Shift times are 11:00-20:00 and 16:30-21:00.

Urgent and Primary Care Centres provide care for people without a Primary Care Provider, who are not able to access their regular provider in a timely manner. A UPCC has a team of doctors, nurse practitioners, medical office assistants, nurses, social workers, life skills worker, and physiotherapists working together to provide team-based care for patients.
Physiotherapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team,
you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. Days of work are rotating and this position is part of an 8 week rotation with extended day shifts.

Qualfications
• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• Valid Driver’s required
