Our client, a well known multinational company in the agricultural industry in Calgary, AB is looking for an experienced administrative assistant. Please note that this is a full time 6 months contract with a hybrid work schedule.The Campus Onboarding Specialist plays a key support role to the Canadian Agricultural Solutions business in supplement to the Human Resources team. This individual will be responsible for planning and managing student onboarding and summer program kickoff initiatives for the Summer Associates Programs in Canada, supporting more than 100 students. This individual will be guided by our Campus Relations team, as well as liaise with internal stakeholders such as IT,
Fleet and Procurement and others to serve the business department needs by coordinating an orientation program and technical onboarding requirements for students.Responsibilities:Manage preparation for university student summer associate participant programming including: student on-boarding, and setting up of relevant orientations and early learning and development requirements. This may include being the master of ceremonies for virtual student onboarding and coordinating other speakers.Build meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders, including Fleet, IT, procurement, medical and others as needed.Liaise with students to provide meaningful advance communication and a strong kickoff to their summer experience.Quickly respond to data requirements of third-party departments, and hold others accountable for execution based on clear service level agreements.Proactively support the student summer associate program to maintain a consistent and impactful brand narrative and employer image on campus. This may include elevating issues and challenges as they emerge,
and participating in their resolution.Required Skills:Minimum high school diploma and 5 years related administrative experience; OR Minimum 1 year certificate in office administration or related discipline and 3 years related administrative experience; OR Minimum 2 year diploma in office admin or related discipline and 1 year related experienceAbility to engage and interact with employees at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated strength in prioritizing multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment, strong coordination skills· High degree of professionalism and judgment when dealing with confidential informationExcellent communication, problem-solving,
and interpersonal skills· Individual must be detailed oriented with meticulous attention to record keepingAbility to take initiative and build strong productive relationshipsExperience with MS Office Suite· A self-starter with demonstrated initiative and ability to anticipate needs.· Ability and/or experience working in a highly matrixed organization.Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in the Early Talent or Campus recruiting/sourcing and/or program management, preferably in a large corporate environmentPlease send your most updated Resume is MSWord format.
