We're a global media company with a presence in Toronto, looking for a talented journalist to join our team. This role offers fantastic variety, and the opportunity to interview leading business figures, with a focus on insurance reporting topics.
The position involves:
- Researching and writing feature articles, profiles, and news stories on international business topics, with a focus on insurance
- Interviewing and profiling business leaders and industry experts
- Writing and editing at an international level, with a focus on accuracy, detail, and relevance
- Covering events, networking, and building strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
- Contributing to an award-winning portfolio of B2B titles
- Writing high-quality,
insightful, and thoroughly-researched news and analysis
- Working closely with management and teams overseas to build online traffic, develop existing and new products, and explore new markets
The ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced journalist with an interest in business reporting, particularly in the insurance sector
- A confident communicator in writing, on the phone, and in person
- Able to conduct interviews, attend client meetings, and network at industry events
- A team player with a can-do attitude and a genuine commitment to high-quality journalism
