New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company is seeking a QA Automation Specialist to develop, implement, and optimize automated testing frameworks and strategies to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of applications and solutions. The role will help drive innovation by leveraging emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Blockchain, to increase productivity and stability and reduce costs within the technology department. The QA Automation Specialist will work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to build robust, scalable, and reusable test scripts.

Responsibilities:

- Define and implement test automation frameworks, strategies,



and processes to align with project and product goals.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and load testing, ensuring high coverage.
- Work closely with developers and product owners to understand requirements, identify testing needs, and ensure the automation strategy is integrated early in the development lifecycle.
- Leverage automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and other frameworks, while integrating CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps for continuous testing.
- Track and report QA metrics, including test coverage, defect density, and overall quality assurance trends.
- Support manual testing efforts for scenarios not covered by automation, particularly in exploratory or edge case testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies, working with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Use AI and Machine Learning to enhance automation capabilities and identify areas for optimization,



refining frameworks to increase test efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain clear documentation of automated test cases, frameworks, and processes, ensuring reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed about new automation tools, methodologies, and emerging technologies, implementing innovative approaches to maintain a cutting-edge QA process.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in QA Testing.
- 5+ years in Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in Agile environments.
- Experience with emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning,



and Blockchain preferred.
- Performance testing knowledge with tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Passionate about new technologies and leveraging them to improve processes and solutions.
- Proficiency in languages commonly used for automation, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and libraries (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium for mobile testing, PyTest, Mocha).
- Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure or AWS, to execute and manage automation testing in cloud settings.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning principles for implementing predictive and adaptive testing strategies is preferred.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze test results, and communicate defects effectively.




- High accuracy in writing test cases and documenting test results.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering a positive work environment.
- Willingness to keep up with advancements in testing and automation technologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in automation testing are highly preferred.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced level).
- Certified Automation Tester (CAT) or similar specialized certification in test automation.

The hourly rate range for this position is $65 - $85, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
