Do you want to be part of a high-performing and entrepreneurial team within a global organization? Oxford’s Hotel Asset Management team is seeking an Associate to join our platform based in Toronto. The Associate is an integral part of a strategic & purposeful team, focused on supporting and leading initiatives to maximize asset values and drive total returns. The Associate will be responsible for providing analytical support and will gain cross-functional exposure to the organization and asset management, including underwriting investments in existing assets and potential acquisitions, developing strategic asset plans, partner communication,



and performance management.

Oxford owns and asset manages one of the most exceptional hotel portfolios in the country, including four “crown-jewel” Fairmont resorts in Western Canada, the recently acquired Rimrock Resort in Banff, the Park Hyatt Toronto, and the InterContinental Toronto Centre.

As a member of this team, you will:

- Oversee asset performance and identify drivers of material variances in operating performance including investigating operating trends to highlight opportunities for improvement
- Prepare and maintain internal dashboards to support performance reviews, trend analysis, and monitoring of KPIs
- Own the analysis and underwriting of value creation (ROI) projects, including capital investments and cost containment initiatives. The Associate is responsible for monitoring & tracking ROI projects,



owning the investment modeling, and preparation of investment memos
- Support development of strategic asset plans through collaboration with other members of the team and the broader organization
- Support investment due diligence and documentation on equity investments including ownership of Oxford’s proprietary hotel investment models
- Lead the preparation of high-quality co-owner reporting, supported by a concise written and verbal communication, including coordination of input from relevant stakeholders.
- Support the annual operating budget process including revenue and expense reviews, collaboration with external stakeholders, and presentation to co-owners
- Support hotel asset management initiatives such as retail leasing and ESG data management
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including Accounting, Legal, Development,



Retail Leasing, and Investments, as required
- Build & maintain strong relationships with external groups including co-owners, hotel operators, and hotel executive teams

Ideal Experience

The successful candidate will be a highly engaged individual with an analytical skill set and keen interest in real estate. In addition to a technical skill set, strong communication skills and the ability to develop and strengthen relationships with co-owners and partners will be critical. To succeed in this role, you have:

- A positive attitude and strong foundation in real estate fundamentals
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or Hotel Management
- 3+ years in real estate asset management, investments, or consulting is preferred
- Proven analytical skills and financial acumen,



highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with PowerBI an asset.
- Strong communication skills to support high quality reporting, effective project execution, and to drive alignment with partners and co-owners
- Understanding of real estate investment fundamentals and underwriting
- A positive and ambitious attitude with a keen attention to detail who can think critically, work independently, and manage competing priorities
- Some travel required. A valid passport with ability to travel internationally.
