Position: Field Service Engineer (Intermediate & Senior)
Location: Ottawa, ON
Duration: Fulltime, Permanent

Overview:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering along with minimum 5-8 years of mechanical engineering experience with a background in automation or factory installations.
- Professional Engineer designation or eligibility for accreditation.
- Understanding of conveyor systems, motor systems and how they're controlled.
- Must be hands-on with knowledge of welding, PLC, and machining.
- Ability to travel internationally (60-90 days) with a valid Canadian passport is required.

Responsibilities:

- Apply advanced engineering knowledge to design and manufacture irradiator components, including safety analyses, testing,



and process improvements.
- Manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring budgets, timelines, and functionality requirements are met.
- Approve designs to meet engineering, safety, quality, and regulatory standards for dry and wet storage irradiators.
- Guide team members' tasks and ensure quality control in their work.
