Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Multithreading, Data Structures, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Also Having experience with AML/KYC compliances.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Core Java.
- Implement and manage multithreading solutions to enhance application efficiency.
- Utilize advanced data structures to solve complex problems and optimize application performance.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs and services using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs promptly.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and enhancements.
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Java 11 version, Spring boot, Spring framework, Microservices, SQL, Database (No SQL preferred), Message platform (like Kafka / JMS / MQ equivalent).
- Experience in Web API implementations with RESTful services.
- Experience with AML/KYC compliance, Money Laundering, Financial crime or Consent order
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Analytical skills Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Certifications in Java will be an added advantage
