Senior Business Analyst to write detailed user stories, and gather requirements for a large internal Information Management System within the public sector - (C-006)

Our public sector client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to provide requirements while supporting artifacts completed by a data modeler within the public sector.

Our client currently has a new project which is the next phase of their Internal information management system. This cloud based system goal is to replace outdated systems but also modernizes departmental applications, reducing technical debt and using digital technologies to deliver superior programs and services to Canadians.

Task; but not limited to:

- Mapping data from existing data sources
- Facilitate meetings and interviews to elicit business requirements, and pose questions to determine what the data modeler requires




- Provide a coherent view of user stories so that development teams understand the work to be done
- Mapping relationships between data, mapping existing data to new data model
- Developing a data dictionary including entities, attributes
- Act as Business Analyst in System Testing to ensure that products meet business requirements
- Develop meeting agendas and meeting plans to elicit requirements from stakeholders
- Provide bi-weekly status reports to the technical authority
- Work on AGILE SCRUM teams supporting the Product Owner to populate and refine the Product Backlogs

The key outcomes the client is trying to achieve are:

1. Develop a data standard that defines what information needs to be collected to support an escapement record in both current and future states.
2. To identified and described how our current data components map to future state
3. Describe missing data components that will be needed to get to future state
4. Report to different data stakeholders to see how their current processes and data map to that standard either directly or through some harmonization process

Must Haves:





- Reliability Clearance
- 10 year of Business Analysts experience
- Experience in Data Modeling / Data Mapping
- Agile Experience

Nice To Have:

- Bilingual
- ITIL, Certification of Capability in Business Analysis
