Our expectations :
Reporting to the Sr Director, HR Operations, the incumbent of this position participates in the identification, analysis and documentation of the business needs of users of our HR systems (Workday and Kronos). In a transformational context of the HR function, the person proposes and implements functional solutions, in addition to leading design and configuration activities. Beyond operational tasks, she will be involved in HR systems implementation and optimization projects in collaboration with all stakeholders in these initiatives.
The role :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business needs are converted into a flexible, scalable and sustainable HR system setup
Implement identified business solutions to solve HR applications or functional issues
Assess the feasibility of requested changes and improvements and prioritize projects to ensure they meet business needs
Be responsible for the design, maintenance and configuration of your system, according to the field of expertise
Act as an expert resource person for users, as well as internal and external stakeholders of the various projects
Coordinate and participate in the deployment of new features in HR systems to continuously improve service delivery
Design and program standardized reports or data queries using appropriate tools and systems for various internal and external partners, including senior management
Maintain a thorough understanding of HR industry trends, best practices, and the latest technologies, and implement them in optimization and continuous improvement projects
Participate in the creation of diverse content for training or reference purposes and support, as appropriate, knowledge transfer to affected users
Share knowledge with team members to develop their multidisciplinary knowledge
The skills we are looking for :
Undergraduate degree in information technology, business analysis, human resources or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 5 or more years of experience in HR systems and application analysis and development, specifically in design and configuration
Knowledge of the administration of modules in Workday Learning and Talent/Performance
Knowledge of content management applications (case management, ticketing and knowledge base)
Knowledge of analytics tools and dashboard creation in Workday (a must)
Excellent problem-solving and innovation skills
Ability to challenge ways of working to improve business processes and maximize investments and system updates
Active listening,
leadership, autonomy, organization and attention to detail, as well as a sense of initiative, detail and urgency
Good management of priorities
Ability to provide a detailed timeline and meet specific, sometimes tight deadlines
Ability to work in a team and share experience and knowledge
Experience in business process documentation required
Understanding of LEAN (Six Sigma) principles and ability to apply them for continuous improvement (an asset)
