Reporting to the Director, Business Process Improvement, the Senior Project Manager is accountable for the effective and successful execution of various cross- functional initiatives as identified by the leadership team. The Senior Project Manager will plan, budget, identify the scope and deliverables of the project, document the timelines, manage and engage the necessary resources and stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead and manage high risk and complex cross functional projects (including new customer launches)
- Manage and meet budgetary objectives, and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
- Assist Project Sponsors in developing Project Charters (SMART goals, scope, deliverables, etc.) so that we can setup projects for great success
- Coach, guide and support Project Managers and Business Leaders across the business on project management best practices
- Present comprehensive project plans to stakeholders and report on progress including problems and solutions (including to Executive Leadership Team)
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
- Evaluate and assess result of project
Qualifications, Skills, And Educational Requirements
- Project Management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
- 5-10 years’ experience in Project Management
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
- Proficient in project management software tools
- Advanced time management and analytical skills
- Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Highly collaborative and adaptable
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Work at North York office as per hybrid policy (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- Ability to be flexible with daily schedule and handle time sensitive situations and multiple demands
