The Senior Commercial Property Manager works under the direction of the General Manager, Commercial Property Management. This position requires strong knowledge of commercial properties.
The candidate is responsible for meeting all contractual obligations and deliverables as well as achieving the Company’s goals and objectives through effective financial and operational management.As a member of the property management team the key responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Property Manager include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:Ensure all properties are managed and operated in compliance with all regulatory requirementsDevelop strong tenant relationshipsOversee third party vendorsConduct site inspections regularlyProvide leadership and assist in the investigation/resolution of any issues that ariseIdentify deficiencies and provide recommendations and action plans in order to improve the propertyPurchase Order and Work Order Processing and Contractor ManagementOn-call response to after-hour emergencies as requiredOther assignments within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as reasonable requested from time to time by managementRequired Knowledge and Experience:7-10 years experience in Property Management.Minimum of five (5)
years Commercial/Industrial Property Management experienceExperience with YARDI (Voyager 7S) would be an assetWorking knowledge and experience in financial accounting in commercial real estate, financial reporting, and budgetingAbility to apply logic and reasoning to effectively manage projects, analyze complex financial, legal and contractual problems and to provide solutions or recommendationsProven ability to identify, evaluate and develop new ideas with supportable resultsEffective negotiation skills to influence and impact at all levels – senior management, peers, direct and indirect reportsSuperior oral and written communication skillsSound analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong computer skills – MS Word, Excel,
