We’re looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team and support Summit’s marketing initiatives and event planning efforts. This is an exciting role for someone who is creative, organized, and eager to contribute to impactful campaigns and memorable events.

Position Overview

As the Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting Summit’s marketing strategies and coordinating events that align with our brand and mission. From creating compelling content and managing campaigns to organizing industry events and conferences, you’ll play a key role in driving brand awareness and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, social media, case studies and presentations.




- Social Media Management: Coordinate Summit’s social media platforms by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and contributing creative ideas to grow our online presence and establish new followings.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, digital ads, and lead generation initiatives.
- Website Management: Update and maintain website content to ensure it reflects our brand and marketing goals.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush, Hotjar, and social media analytics.

Events

- Event Planning: Coordinate and execute marketing-related events, such as webinars, industry conferences, client appreciation events, and internal team events.




- Logistics Management: Handle event logistics, including venue booking, vendor coordination, and scheduling.
- Event Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and drive attendance through email campaigns, social media, and other channels.
- On-Site Coordination: Support the setup and execution of events, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for attendees.
- Post-Event Analysis: Gather feedback and analyze event success to make improvements for future initiatives.

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, event planning, or a related role (internships or co-op experience welcome).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.




- Proficiency in marketing tools and software (experience with HubSpot, Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite is an asset).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
- Experience planning and coordinating events is a strong asset.
