We are seeking a versatile and experienced Manager, IT and Cyber Security to lead and oversee the organization's technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, database management, and system integrations.
Reporting directly to the Director of IT, the IT Manager will ensure the organization's IT systems, including cloud environments, databases, POS systems, self-serving kiosks, and digital marketing platforms, operate efficiently and securely.
This role requires a well-rounded professional with expertise in cybersecurity, data management, system integrations, analytics tools, and cutting-edge retail technology solutions.
Cybersecurity and Compliance:
Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
Monitor and mitigate security threats using advanced tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS, NIST, and GDPR.
Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and conduct regular awareness programs.
Database Management and Analytics: Oversee database design, development, and maintenance to support organizational data needs.
Manage and optimize SQL databases for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement data governance practices and ensure the accuracy and security of organizational data.
Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
Enable seamless data integrations between databases and analytics platforms.
System Integrations and Retail Technology Management: Lead the integration and management of retail technology systems, including point-of-sale (POS), self-serving kiosks, and payment systems.
Oversee deployment, maintenance, and upgrades of in-store technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Ensure smooth integration of retail systems with back-office platforms, including inventory management, CRM, and financial systems.
Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to implement new features and resolve issues.
Cloud Infrastructure and Digital Marketing Platforms: Manage cloud infrastructure services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Support digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and email marketing tools) through seamless system integrations and data tracking.
Oversee website infrastructure and ensure integrations with e-commerce platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics solutions.
Optimize cloud-based workflows to support operational and marketing goals.
Technology Operations and Support: Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud systems, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex IT issues and minimize downtime.
Implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Ensure consistent performance and uptime of all IT systems, including kiosks, POS, and cloud-based applications.
Leadership and Collaboration: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, ensuring productivity and professional growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align IT strategies with business goals.
Build strong relationships with technology vendors and partners to deliver cost-effective and innovative solutions.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT management, with expertise in database management, system integrations, and retail technology solutions.
Proven experience in managing cloud environments, POS systems, self-serving kiosks, and digital marketing technologies.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and data privacy regulations.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, database design, and optimization techniques.
Experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools.
Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,
or Google Cloud), including managing virtual machines, storage, and security configurations.
Hands-on experience with POS systems, kiosks, and their integration with back-office platforms.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and CRM systems.
Understanding of system integration practices and tools (e.g., APIs, middleware).
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and payment gateway integrations is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and develop IT teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve technical challenges.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and present complex IT strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
