Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide on-site troubleshooting of network and software issues to support a Windows 10 to 11 migration.
Background:
To support a Windows 10 to 11 migration project, which includes the replacement of over 8,000 workstations (desktops, laptops, and tablets). On site verification is required to ensure all non-compliant workstations are identified and the life cycle is complete before the end of life support date.
Must haves:
- Help Desk Specialist (1+ years)
- Service Desk support to 1000 Windows’s 10 clients (1+ year)
- Installing and troubleshooting - 1st line support (1+ years)
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in computer science or other relevant field
Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop technical support to maintain, repair, upgrade, install, replace, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop/laptop/tablet, computer equipment, printers, and all peripherals using Assyst) and Active Directory.
- Provide 1st or 2nd level technical support
- Provide on-site verification, problem recognition, isolation, research, resolution and follow-up
- Open, close, action trouble tickets
- Active Directory administration in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Isolate problems, troubleshoot and provide follow-up instruction, as required to reduce the overall number of trouble calls;
- Provide advice and technical guidance to end users and distribute new IT assets (such as laptops, tablets, monitors, printers, etc.) for client needs as the situation requires.
