Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the positions of Part Time Casual Produce Clerk at our Food Store location in Big River, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:




• Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
• Provide Legendary Service through all touch points through various communication channels
• Properly prepare products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records
• Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department
• Procure, receive, and display product with a focus on well-organized, visually appealing presentation
• Follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices
• Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times; follow FIFO
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:




You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
• A background in the retail produce industry is considered an asset
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do
• You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• You are familiar with food safe procedures and practices
• You have the ability to fulfill extensive physical labour job requirements – standing, performing regular heavy lifting
• You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment




• You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
