About the Role
MolecuLight is looking for an enthusiastic and driven junior product manager to join our growing marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will act as the voice of the customer to help bring new products and features to the global medical wound care market. The role will involve both upstream product marketing including wound care market research and product positioning as well as downstream product marketing including the development of product documentation, user interface designs, new promotional material and aiding in the execution of new product and feature launches.
Role Responsibilities
· Define and document user personas and product requirements for new products and features to drive overall product adoption
· Analyse post market customer feedback to identify user needs and prioritize the backlog of product requirements based on quantifiable metrics
· Collaborate closely with engineering and QA to ensure product requirements are implemented as specified and provide users with efficient intuitive workflows
· Contribute to the overall user interface design and implementation of new features
· Develop content and messaging for product documentation and product marketing material including manuals, sales tools, brochures/handouts, website designs etc. to support the launch of new features
· Prepare and present product updates and training materials for internal and external stakeholders to optimize product usage and adoption in the market
· Aid in developing tools to promote products and new features through social media, tradeshows and customer targeted communication
· Work closely with the clinical team to test new features in the field prior to deployment to provide meaningful feedback to the development team for ensuring enhanced user experience
· Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, life sciences, marketing or related field.
· 1-3 years of work experience in product management, engineering or other product related roles.
· Robust critical thinking skills to analyze real-world clinical problems and develop unique and efficient solutions for the user.
· Highly organized with an outstanding attention to detail to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy of delivered work
· Be able to effectively communicate as the “voice of the customer” to advocate for enhanced user experience throughout the development process
· Strong collaboration, problem solving, analytical, planning and creative design skills
· Ability to travel (10-15%); must have valid passport.
· Experience in medical imaging is an asset.
