Position: Associate Content Manager

Reports to: Social Media & Digital Director

Role Overview:

The Associate Content Manager will play a critical role in executing strategic content development for client and agency social media accounts. Reporting to the Social Media & Digital Director, this position focuses on creating, managing, and delivering performance-driven content for organic and paid social media channels. The ideal candidate will contribute to creative ideation, oversee content production, and support photoshoot execution while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:Content Creation & Management:

- Develop engaging, on-brand, and performance-driven content for monthly social media calendars,



including organic and paid channels.
- Write compelling and error-free copy that aligns with each client’s tone, voice, and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate on content strategies to define distinct online voices, personalities, and branding for clients.
- Support the creation of ad copy and content to drive campaign performance.
- Regularly review and refine content to ensure relevance, creativity, and quality.
- Delegate content creation tasks to photographers, graphic designers, and creators, ensuring clear direction and alignment with project goals.

Creative & Campaign Support:

- Brainstorm and propose innovative social media concepts and strategies to enhance client campaigns.
- Assist in developing UGC (user-generated content) campaigns by liaising with influencers and creators.
- Contribute to the development of the agency’s own social media content plans and strategies (1Milk2Sugars & doubleshot).

Photoshoot & Production Support:

- Coordinate photoshoots and content production, managing shot lists, vendor communication, and budgets.
- Effectively brief photographers, videographers,



and designers to align with creative objectives.
- Handle prop sourcing, styling, and on-site production needs as required.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Work closely with Content Managers, Account Managers, and the PR team to execute seamless campaigns.
- Attend internal and client-facing meetings, providing status updates and insights.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members and interns, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Reporting & Trend Analysis:

- Track and analyze the performance of organic social media content, providing actionable insights.
- Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, tools, and innovations, sharing updates with the team.
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose solutions for process improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing,



Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience creating social media content for lifestyle, beauty, or consumer brands, preferably in an agency setting.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Canva, and social media management platforms (e.g., Later, Hootsuite).
- Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis for social media performance.
- Strong photography and videography skills, including stop-motion content creation, are a plus.

Soft Skills:

- Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills with a sharp attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas to clients and leadership.
