As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new client acquisition by offering tailored funding solutions to small and midsized B2B businesses. This is an outside sales role that focuses on building strong referral networks and maintaining relationships with clients across the GTA and beyond. This position reports directly to the President and offers a competitive base salary of $75,000–$100,000, and other perks!

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

- Base Salary: $75,000–$100,000 with commissions
- 1st Year On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000 - $150,000

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

- Head Office: Mississauga
- Primary Territory: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- Primarily work remotely but will need to visit clients or prospects, and attend in-person team meetings in the GTA a few times a year.

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:





- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in corporate financing, factoring, or asset-based lending preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Excel - Basic
- PowerPoint - Basic
- MS Word - Basic

THE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION

- Invoice Factoring
- Purchase Order Financing (PO)
- Supply Chain Financing (SCF)
- Asset-Based Lending (ABL)
- Cash Flow Loans

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION-MAKER(S):

- Primary Market: Small to midsized B2B companies ($1M-$50M revenue)
- Target Industries: Staffing, Manufacturing, Import Distribution, Food Services, and Oil & Gas
- Decision Makers: Typically senior leadership (VP/Director level) or business owners (C-suite)

SALES CYCLE / ORDER VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE

- Sales Cycle: 1-4 weeks
- Target Factoring Clients Size: $250,000 to $1 million
- Client Revenue Range: $1M to $50M annually

LEADS:

- Referral-driven: 100% of leads are generated through trusted sources (e.g., accountants, bankers)
- This role must proactively build relationships to develop new referral sources

OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:

- Occasional overnight travel is required, occurring 2-3 times a year

SUPPORT & TRAINING:

- Training Duration: 2-3 weeks (remote onboarding)
- Support: Mentorship and ongoing guidance
- Tools Provided: HubSpot CRM, other standard business tools
