Job Description
The House of Commons’ Finance Services is currently looking to staff the Manager, Asset Services position on an indeterminate basis and to create a pool of qualified candidates for future opportunities.
This recruitment and selection process is open only to employees of the House of Commons Administration.
As the Manager of Asset Services at the House of Commons, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing a specialized team focused on implementing a standardized corporate asset management approach. Your expertise will ensure the optimization of assets across the Parliamentary Precinct and more than 420 constituency offices throughout Canada,
as well as managing the relocation of Members' residential and constituency offices nationwide.
In this role, you will be the functional expert, responsible for reporting critical trends and industry best practices to senior management. You will guide operational improvements, recommend cost-effective practices, and identify potential risks with mitigation strategies. You will also lead the development and evaluation of standards, performance measures, and quality assurance practices to ensure efficient and effective asset management across the House Administration.
