Akkodis is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support one of our key clients in Law Enforcement to modernize a number of Forms, Systems and applications, leveraging React, JavaScript and Power Apps in order to achieve mobility, better user experience and efficiency through the modernization of these products.Overview: The Developer’s role is to assess suitability and develop applications using React and Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate. This includes utilizing problem-solving skills to understand requirements and troubleshoot as challenges arise. This individual will apply proven development skills to design, test and knowledge share developed productsKey Deliverables:
Work directly with stakeholders to collect and identify functional requirements as well as support various projects and solutions.Understand requirements and transform the business use cases into building applications for end users.Leverage your Power Apps expertise and understanding to customize, configure, secure, integrate, and enhance forms, systems and apps, as well as boundaries and constraints.Follow best practices for building and packaging Power Platform components.Development of Azure logic apps and Azure functions to extend the Power Platform capabilities.Responsible for developing and testing Power Platform components.Responsible for installation and configuration of data gateways.Work to extend the Power Platform capabilities through Azure Cloud & Services.Develop Tests plans and cases, evaluate and modify existing programs, interactions, etc.Requirements: College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, finance,
management information systems or similar.Must have previous experience with development in the Microsoft ecosystem (.Net framework) and specifically in the Microsoft Power Platform.At least 2+ years of experience developing MS Power Platform solutions, leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, and SharePoint to deliver customized solutions.Some familiarity with Azure Cloud services, such as Azure logic apps and/or Azure functions to extend Power Platform Capabilities.Hands-on experience with JavaScript and React for development.Excellent listening, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience working with Public Safety, Law Enforcement or Government / federal based organizations would be a major asset.Any relevant Certifications such as Power Platform Certifications or MS Azure, would be considered an asset.If you are interested in learning more, or if you would like to discuss any other Power Platform related roles, don't hesitate to apply today!
