Our valued public sector clients are looking for a Senior Business Continuity Consultant (10+ years) to assist in the updating and developing of the business continuity plan (BCP), the business impact assessment (BIA), the departmental threat and risk assessment (TRA) , and other relevant documentation while taking into consideration the potential impacts of a new hybrid work model on the departments core operations .
Responsibilities May Include:
Developing and implementing business continuity plans
Conducting threat and risk assessments and evaluating potential risk and losses
Identifying personnel, physical, and procedural threats and vulnerabilities as part of the overarching TRA process
Reviewing, analyzing,
and/or applying Government Security policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and Security Risk Management methodologies
Developing and managing the implementation of risk and event management plans (safety programs) to identify, analyze, plan, track, evaluate and control project risks on a continuous basis throughout the project life cycle
Recommending alternative solutions, methodologies and strategies for risk mitigation and management
Preparing reports for internal or external publication (corporate services, policy, communications)
Liaising with and interviewing stakeholders, as required, to obtain, clarify and exchange information, in-order to co-ordinate and manage the risk assessment process
Preparing draft and finalized risk assessments, briefing notes, presentations and papers related to risk management, and developing and updating risk management plans
Must Haves:
Federal Government Reliability Clearance
University Degree or College Diploma
Relevant Professional Certification
Proficiency in using Microsoft resources, such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
Nice to Haves:
Bilingual (English and French)
