As a Team Member at Tim Hortons, your top priority is guest satisfaction! Whether you are the very first person our guests encounter, or produce the best loved bakery items that our guests come to enjoy, you will have the opportunity to deliver and create exceptional guest experiences.
In this position you will:
· Greet & welcome guests with hospitality. Sometimes you will be the first person they see to start their day!
· Complete guest orders including coffees, Iced Capps®, donuts and more!
· Create delicious sandwiches and wraps
· Follow Tim Hortons standards and guidelines when preparing products for our guests as well as follow all operating guidelines for each piece of equipment
· Have fun while making your guests day!
FOOD SERVICE SUPERVSOR POSITION JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tim Hortons Food Service Supervisor position is operational in nature and involves ensuring
that standards around people, product, cleanliness, and exceptional Guest experience are
fulfilled. The following duties a Food Service Manager performs ensures all restaurant policies
are followed during the shift (e.g. cash policies, meal and break policies, food safety policies):
· Prepare, portion and serve food to guests & respond to guest service complaints in a timely manner
· Assists in ensuring optimal team member coverage at all times and works various positions
· Leads by example and demonstrates the importance of treating every team member and guest
with respect, reacts immediately to issues requiring attention during the shift.
· Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve
food.
· Establish methods to meet work schedules
· Train staff in job duties,
and sanitation and safety procedures. Ensure that food and service
meet quality control standards
· Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for preparation or direct team members
for prep/stock on the shift. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage- report quality
issues to management (Inventory Management)
· Manage product builds according to minimize waste and adhere to franchise standards.
· Participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in execution of policies, procedures
and budgets and is scheduled to meet these schedule needs (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm)
Education required: Completion of secondary school
