COMPENSATION: $68,605 – 82,123 annually prorated
CONTRACT DURATION: 1 Year Contract

Program Performance.

Job Summary
Evidence-informed practice (EIP) is the approach of integrating best available research knowledge with clinical expertise in the context of client characteristics, culture, and preferences. Working closely with LOFT’s three community health client-care streams, the Specialist, Program Performance will be a champion for EIP by promoting and supporting organizational culture to sustain core EIP principles across all client-care initiatives.

What You Will Do
Working in a fast-paced environment, the Specialist, Program Performance will be responsible for the following areas of work:
Program Development

- Support the process of program development and conceptualization:
- Support the development of foundational reports and analyses necessary for program development such as needs assessments, environmental scans and literature reviews
- Working in partnership with various programs across LOFT to co-develop a theoretical approach that will inform program development
- Participate in the development of organizational- and program-level logic models,



theories of change and/or evaluation frameworks

High Quality Implementation

- Support high-quality implementation of new EIP practices through an implementation science lens
- Lead the implementation of new EIP pilot and scale-up initiatives across the organization
- Develop an evaluation strategy to monitor and track change in staff knowledge, behaviours and attitudes, practices, and client outcomes as it related to EIP

- Develop a cohesive change management strategy to introduce the broader concept of EIP across LOFT that is tailored to the needs of different stakeholder groups
- Develop and implement organizational infrastructure to support and sustain EIP implementation and change management initiatives

Evidence-informed Practice Capacity Building





- Lead readiness assessments to inform stream-specific capacity building strategies to promote EIP, culture of safety and client engagement
- Assist in the development of training curriculum to strengthen the link between data and research evidence that is tailored for streams and stakeholders
- Lead implementation of training curriculum including workshop facilitation and coaching
- Lead the development and implementation of a training evaluation approach that will inform ongoing quality improvement strategies

Promoting Service Excellence

- Laise with Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) team to enhance quality improvement and data initiatives
- Support organizational-wide quality and implementation initiatives such as CARF accreditation, data governance strategies, and the client relationship management system




- Support client care data sharing and mobilization within clinical streams and programs in partnership with the PQI team

Other leadership duties as necessary

What You Bring:
Must Haves

- A graduate degree in psychology, social work, education or related social science discipline
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years related experience in quality management programs and/or research methodologies in a community or healthcare environment with some formal leadership, policy development, or project leadership experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with research methodology, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approaches
- Management of large datasets including data cleaning and variable construction
- Advanced statistical analysis (e.g., predictive analysis)
- Experience with knowledge dissemination to a variety of different audiences




- Experience in developing and executing both short- and long-term implementation and change management strategies with proven ability to scope, plan, execute and track complex projects
- Understand the client experience
- Must have regular access to a reliable vehicle
- Exceptional ability to nurture positive, professional relationships with different stakeholders (internally and external)
- Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to change
- Self-directed with an ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and multi-task and think both analytically and critically with attention to detail
- Proven superior writing and presentation skills.
- Very strong computer skills using MS Office

Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, NVivo) an asset




- Research and implementation science experience an asset
- Grant and proposal writing experience an asset

Work Environment:

- Combination of walking and sitting for a long period of time
- Ability to use office equipment and computers
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations
- Frequent Travel to Program locations located across the GTA and Central Ontario Health region
