We are looking for qualified individuals to apply for the role of Investment Analyst.
The role entails developing in-depth knowledge on one or more industries,
with the goal of helping to identify suitable public market investments.
The nature of the work is diligent, detail-oriented, and focused on the long term. Analysts establish an array of forecasts and produce valuation models resulting in investment recommendations and ultimately portfolio investments. The scope of the work is global, as it includes the analysis of worldwide industry trends as well as the review of companies operating across geographies.

Investment Analysts have the chance to contribute to the firm’s growth and success not only through their own portfolio recommendations, but also by participating in teamwide investment decisions.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide investment recommendations of securities within industry coverage;
- Maintain up-to-date investment thesis and financial models on portfolio companies within industry coverage, and recommend changes to portfolio composition when appropriate;
- Regularly meet with the management of publicly traded companies, visit their operations and perform any other required due diligence;
- Develop a pipeline of potential investment opportunities;
- Assist Client Servicing / Business Development in answering client queries, collecting data, and preparing presentations, promotional material, and framing communications when required;
- Review proxies and determine how they should be voted in keeping with the firm’s proxy voting policies;
- Actively participate in investment team meetings.
profile:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- MBA or M. Sc. in finances or other pertinent area;
- You have excellent academic results;
- Between 1-5 years of pertinent experience.

- Passion for investing and interest in financial markets
- Good ethical judgment;
- Excellent analytical skills
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated: able to perform at times under minimal supervision;
- Mathematically proficient;
- Curious and constantly willing to learn about the world around you;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written);
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Excels in a team environment;
- Multilingual (French / English, and/or other languages) is an asset
Salary and benefits:
- Competitive base salary, plus annual bonus;
