We are looking for a Licensed Dispatch Clerk - Part Time - Weekend (Saturday & Sunday) for our Scarborough location. Shift : 5:30am to 6pm each day.
General Job Duties:
Continue Dispatch plan from day shift
assign loads in Descartes
build manual loads as necessary
answer calls from drivers and report any issues/wait times (input to excel)
follow work plan and directions from Dispatch Coordinator
notify Dispatch Coordinator or Supervisor of any deficiencies with drivers, load plans or Descartes
scan and file PODs from drivers deliveries
scan and file driver time sheets
verify driver time sheets to dispatch reporting, note missing or discrepant data and pass on to Dispatch Supervisor
Additional duties as required by business growth and change
Communicate and collaborate with other team members
Make suggestions for productivity improvements
