We're on the hunt for a talented Chief Estimator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for construction. You will have experience estimating across Formwork, Shoring and Waterproofing across both large scale ICI and High-rise residential construction.
Chief Estimator - ICI - OttawaMain responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for cost estimation
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers for project estimation
- Review construction plans and prepare quantity needs
- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services
- Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data
- Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies
- Oversee and coordinate work of the estimating team
- Present prepared estimates for projects or services to be sold
- Manage both Senior and Junior Estimators across multiple divisions

Chief Estimator - ICI - OttawaRequired Skills & Experience
- A strong background in the Property and Construction industry
- Minimum 10 years experience in construction
- Minimum of 5 years working for one or more subcontractors
- 7+ years Estimating experience
- Estimation experience across at least two of the following disciplines - Civil, Forming, Shoring, Waterproofing, Excavation & Demolition
- A strong background in the Property and Construction industry
- Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- A degree in a relevant field such as construction management, or engineering,
Designation: P.Eng or PQS

- A competitive salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 (dependent upon experience)
